Firstly, great result, well done


I take a statin each day - Lipitor. I am having my second blood test at the end of this month so will see if it's made a difference.
Ain't lipotor the name of the company who manufacture the statin? Isn't it called simvistatin or atorvastatin I take the latter once daily
 
Thanks for all the comments. At times I have found it difficult as it is a change in lifestyle. However I must say a lot of my motivation has come from you guys. Love this forum, it has certainly helped me a lot
 
There's a separate thread on statins that Pigeon started. Some folk have bad side effects and a lot us are very doubtful whether they do anything useful if you haven't had a previous cardio-vascular event already TBH - is it actually more healthy for everyone to have lower Chol in the first place ?

I'll have a look at that. I've not had any side effects.
