Oh another thing, what size needles are you on?? Could be the size isn't right for you!

And that's okay 🙂 x

I didn't find my bum easy Sooooooo my mum does my basal for me! hahahaha x

I don't have any lumps on my tum (only bruises!) but I've started to get red lumps and bumps on my thighs where I inject my levermir, despite changing sites.

Can i borrow her I'll pay the train fair
She just laughed and said yeah sure she wants to travel about sticking needles in peoples as**s and as long as you feed her! SURE hahhaha x

Ohh hmm GlucoRX are the other ones....

If not then your belly could just be a really sensitive area!

Ok I will ask my gp about those least if it ain't the needle I've given it a go.

I use GlucoRX needles. A while ago I was in the hospital and the Dr checked my belly. She goes "are you using cheap needles for your insulin Rosie?" she didn't even I know I was diabetic at first! She saw all the bruises and knew immediately I was using the cheapest needles. They definitely make me bleed and bruise more than I assume is normal?

On a side note, I find injecting in my thighs much less painful than my stomach. It's worth trying it. Sit down so your skin isn't tight. If it helps, some people pinch the skin first and find that helps.
