Just lately when I inject im getting a lump on area when I pull out needle .OH says im being to careful and thinking to much about the injection and should just shove it in as he says. Could that be the case? it dont half hurt when im twisting the dial in myself.
Any suggestions where im going wrong accept having a sarky OH. 🙂

Thank you in advance.

I sometimes get it but only when I'm using the outer sides of my tummy, I'm not sure but I think its just as its a skinnier part and often have to 'tug' it out almost, I just 'shove' it in so to speak haha x

Twisting the dial in yourself? Do you not twist it up to the number of units you need beforehand?

I just shove it in too! Does the lump last or go away straight away?

@Rosiecarmel it goes pretty much straight away .Yeah I do I mean i do the airshot and then turn dial to 22 which is the units I'm on

Oh wheest you! :D your a fab person so what does it matter anyway 🙂 x

If it's going straight away I wouldn't be too worried about it hun, have you opened a new box of needles recently as may be that they are slightly blunter x

@ohitsnicola tbh not alot really. My bellies like a pin cushion wheras only ever did it in thigh twice

Is there a reason you don't rotate sites much? Not rotating sites can cause lipohypertrophy in the future which is fatty lumps appearing under the skin and can cause absorption issues

Nerves mainly Rosie it's like I got used to injecting In belly and then gotta get head around a new site. My thighs should be pretty much easy I guess as there chubby

Have you tried injecting in your bum?? Used to be my fave place to inject lol! Hated the stomach...too sensitive...not that I have much choice now I am on the pump lol x

Could be that then! They're probably lipo's....not sure you're aware of them lol xx
I've looked them up now as Rosie said the word to but it it's full form I think . From what i get then if I give my tummy a rest and move to another area it may work better?

Yes defo! Tops of thigh's and bum, were my fave sites! Amount of horrific bruises I would get on my belly was crazy! x
