A program this week investigated why a driver had lost his job after a drugs test.
It seems he really enjoyed poppy seed bread and rolls and these seeds do come from the poppy that makes heroin and traces where found in his blood so he was sacked.
This is just a warning take care when eating poppy seeds.

Oh, I read an article about that the other day. Angela Rippon ( or someone similar) ate a poppy seed loaf over the course of several days, and they tested her, and she was positive for opiates.

Angela Rippon is one of the hosts of the BBC Rip off Britian Food. The programme it was on.

Good grief!

Meanwhile back at the ranch - I'd just have assumed they went straight through like tomato pips, raspberry and strawberry ones!
