I'm eating coco hops with no insulin what's the worse that can happen
Your levels will go sky high probably hun, not a good thing to do :( x

Oh well had enough anyway
I've read the other thread where you talk about struggling, I was the same when I was diagnosed just over 6 months ago, I barely ate at all before I was diagnosed but I knew that wasn't right so I set out to eat 3 meals a day and now I have so much more energy, I never missed injecting though as the fear of what 'might happen' if I didn't was much stronger than the fear of injecting, I'm not sure if its been suggested on the other thread as I've not been around much today but have you got a team that you can call and maybe ask about seeing a counsellor or along the lines of it, DON'T give up you can still lead a perfectly normal life, I wouldn't be where I am now without the support the guys here have given me and we are all here to do the same with everyone x

Post deleted as it's been pointed out I'm thinking of the wrong person my apologies @Kade.

@Pumper_Sue you are thinking about BrokenPancreas, Kade is a newly diagnosed at the end of April/ beginning of May on MDI I think although they haven't clarified what regime they are on on one of their previous threads x

Please don't react like that, Sue just got you confused with another new member on the forum x

Hi Kade. Don't worry I am not going to have a go at you, no one here will.
I see you are newly diagnosed. It does come as a shock.
Though I have T2, I am on insulin (MDI) so I do understand the pros and cons of it.
I am also up close and personal with some of the complications of D. I don't want you to have any!

Sorry I haven't read all of your posts, but I am wondering if you are suffering from some depression, apologies if I am wrong.
If you haven't already done so It would be a good idea to speak to your team to let them know how you're feeling as well as talking to us on here, they can't help you if they don't know.
You're a young lady with a youngster who needs her Mum and no matter how old She is she will always need you. What I am trying to say is, atm you may not feel able to do this for yourself but you may be able to do this for your daughter.
But you needn't be alone in your fight for good health.

And I have no mum she's a druggy same as my dad
Well I am very sorry to hear this but you have to concentrate on yourself! I'll tell you I don't have anxiety or the problems you are dealing with at the moment but I will tell you something nobody on here knows about me, I too felt suicidal as a teenager and I had some pretty tough things happening back then, I was cutting myself for years and I'm certainly not proud of it! the hell I put my family through was horrible, BUT you have to speak to someone about it, there are professionals that CAN and WILL help x

Hey there is no need for this, we all have /had problems some of us are seriously ill

Ok so you are a cancer survivor fantastic this means you can live a full and active life which you have been given the chance of. My Mother had cancers 40 years ago and is now coming up to her 81st birthday so if she can do it so can you 🙂 Diabetes is very hard to accept as a teenager but shouldn't stop you doing as you want in life as long as you manage it. You just need to come to terms with it and stop hitting out at people who want to help you.
Even though you think I'm old and past it and have no idea I can assure you I remember my teenage years with diabetes as if it was yesterday, and yes my mother does as well because I was a little what's it 😳
I've have diabetes for 52 years so diagnosed as a very young child it never stopped me doing anything in life, I've also been diagnosed with MS life still goes on 🙂

Take one day at a time as tomorrow is another day.

I've said this on another of your threads, @Kade. Please phone Samaritans now on 116 123. They're there to listen at all times. Then phone your diabetes team tomorrow morning when they open, probably 9am. Leave a voicemail with your phone number if no one answers.

It can be very tough best to talk to someone I myself have had a tough life and felt down and had anxiety on occasions and I lay awake some nights thinking what if I get complications in later years even if my levels are under control
