i was away at the weekend and a friend had made a Hemsley and Hemsley muesli which I tried for breakfast. I had no idea what the carbs were but over the days realised it was a lot lower than I had expected.

Now made my own similar mix of quinoa flakes, flaxseed, nuts and seeds which I roasted in coconut oil for 10 min before mixing it with desiccated coconut and maple syrup. Having worked out the total carbs of all the bits and the total weight I know just to weigh my portion and divide by 8 for carbs. With yogurt and fresh berries I was still only at 12 g of carbs for a tasty and filling breakfast.

Sounds delicious! I am going to try it as never know what to eat for breakfast. Thanks for sharing.
