is there a web site somewhere that helps work out carb content of home made food, biscuits, baked things? As I am new to this carb counting, and feel a bit over whelmed. Have been doing the Berti. On line course, it's very helpful. Wish I had know about it years ago.

I use the Myfitnesspal free app, it has a 'create a recipe' section where you can look up the carb content of each ingredient, then it adds it up and divides it by the number of portions you say it makes.

That's brilliant Robin, thanks, I'll find that and give it a go.

Carbs n Cals App on your phone is brilliant... Don't know if thats the type of thing you are looking for?

I believe that they also do a hard cover book, available from amazon?

🙂

Sonsam, thanks for that. Yes have the book and it's really good. Am looking for something where I can put in ingredients, and bake/cook, and then find out the carbs per portion, without too much working out....maybe it doesn't exist but I'll keep looking!
