Usually I snack on a few squares of green & blacks 85% as at 4.5g carbs you can't go too wrong and its all mine as OH can't stand dark chocolate haha but just now with my afternoon coffee I feel I've pushed the boat out and gone a bit posh - Walnuts lol a whole 55g pot only contains 1.7g carbs woohoo, so anyway what do you guys snack on curious but also looking for ideas as before i was diagnosed I would help myself to anything

I Occasionally have some pork scratchings

I never used to be keen on them but hey I cut sugar out of my coffee within 2 days of diagnosis and love it so my tastes may be changing haha, I am being quite funny at the moment though as have a taste for double cream in my coffee rather than milk it's driving my mum mad if she's making them having to fuss about haha 🙂 x

I'd forgotten how good walnuts were kinda regretting the fact I only bought one pot as got them from Asda and the closest one to me is 15 miles away haha x

I like lots of different nuts and also cheese, yum.

I try not to snack...doing the three meals a day thing. Before I had to worry about D I would just pig out continuously. An ounce of nuts would be a good snack though, walnuts are really good for you. Love cashews but they're a bit high in carbs. Can't have pistachios as allergic. Found that out twice when I swelled up and went funnypec. Nightmare.

Please don't get me started on cheese I could actually live on the stuff spread, cheddar, flavoured from the counter in Tesco Oh there we go i now want cheese haha I would skip meals before I was diagnosed and didn't feel hungry since starting my insulin I'm starving 3 scrambled eggs with cheese thrown in on a sandwich the other day the thing looked like a blooming doorstop was yummy though 🙂 x
