Had a burger last night ao decided to attempt a low carb bread recipe on diet doctor. It was amazing! So much like bread, it was scary. Oddly, it was purple inside. The recipe is suppose to make 6 rolls, but l made 2. I didn't realise they would rise so much.20160722_193518.jpg
 
Purple? That sounds, er, interesting. Is that a full sugar strawberry jam recipe I see on the mat under the cooling rack? Yes, the thought police are everywhere!
 
Apparently certain brands of psyllium husk powder can cause the purpleness. And yes, that is a strawberry jam recipe. It's printed on a glass cutting board.
 
I'll post it in the recipe section. Almost the same recipe as my failed naan experiment, but turned out much better.
