i was so pleased that i had got my blood sugars down into the 5s today, but i then decided to have a chippy tea with the daughter as a treat and now 13.6 2hrs later! I am finding my food choices very limited and get fed up of eating the same things, i am not very adventurous in the kitchen so end up eating home made casserole or weight watchers home made no count spag bol with wholewheat pasta, bah!!!

Being on a Keto diet I'm finding a lot of fun stuff to eat (and new ways to make old staples).... Saturday, a rare treat, my wife offered to make Keto Orange Chicken (admittedly she needed help as she's not so hot in the kitchen). Turned out great!!!

Well done with the 5,s. I had a take away on Friday, and went high. You could do courgette and carrot spirals and lightly steam them instead of pasta.you even get a twirl going. Nice raw as well. A spiraliser will cost about £15 Lynn Davies posted a recipe for cheeseburger loaf. I tried it using turkey mince and it was yummy, and struggled to eat lots. Good luck.

Aye, i just get a handle on things then read something else, or forget something else

A very low carb LCHF diet.... We aim to have our bodies in Nutritional Ketosis pretty much all the time....

It's from a book Bonnie downloaded "cooking by the ruled book" from http://www.ruled.me/ Note that the recipe I scanned has a typo, I think it just calls for 1 chicken breast

Courgetti is amazing. Especially in a stir fry. I don't miss the noodles at all. Check out a site called Diet Doctor. Amazing low carb recipes. Ive found so much great food since going LCHF. I still have the occasional take away. Life wouldn't be worth living otherwise.🙂

Was in NZ a couple of weeks ago, so looking forward to real Fish & Chips, unfortunately the art of making good chips didn't travel that far!!!! Not to mention that getting Malt Vinegar was like pulling teeth!!!
