I'm st a work conference today, and was so impressed with the food laid on, from a diabetic friendly perspective.

Out with the sandwiches/sausage rolls and pastry, in with chicken and chorizo kebabs, roast beef slices and celeriac remolade on open slices of toasted seeded rye bread, little jars of salad, slices of mushroom and spring onion frittata and platters of veg crudités/hummus.

Most impressed! I had bought lunch with me, as wasn't expecting to be able to eat, but pleasantly surprised!

Good grief! I have been at a loss at meetings etc when faced with umpteen plates of sandwiches, although once or twice I have cadged a veggie or gluten-free plate where it's been mostly salad or cheese.

I'm well impressed with the caterers 🙂:D

Sounds lovely, but too low carb for my son!

A collegues ordered us diabetic/vegetarian for an event. We got 4 platefuls, don't think they could work out what we needed, but lovely for us and others

Low carb is pretty much the way to go for us T2s!
Amen, Greg..... LCHF/Keto for 4 months now & loving my numbers FBG usually in the range 3.9-5.0
