I'm wondering if anyone here who is in the Anglia region saw the local news last night? It was about a guy who was on Dragon's Den a few years back who came up with low fat, low carb noodles but failed his pitch & got no money from the Dragons. Apparently he is doing really well now, but I can't remember what they were called.

Just googled it. Apparently the company are Bare Naked Foods. They also do rice.🙂

I watched it, I thought they were low calorie noodles, I must have only been half listening!

I just found zero carb rice and spaghetti in Asda. MIghty darn expensive though.

Think my BG watching is out for good today. I had 2 small slices of sourdough bread with cheese etc and half a cream donut for my birthday lunch. Now I'm breaking out with a virus sore throat, headache etc. Don'f feel like cooking will be bangers and frozen chips.

Happy birthday Pat! Hope your sore throat doesn't get any worse!

Well, they only mentioned them being low calorie, but I was looking very hard & noticed the packet also stated low carb.🙂

Are they Shitake noodles?
No idea. Didn't mention shitake noodles. I believe shitake are mushroom based so my wife couldn't have them as she is allergic to mushrooms.:(

Holland & Barrett stock a variety.

With noodles it's 'shiritaki', not 'shiitake' - shiritaki is another word for konjac. Nothing to do with mushrooms!

Thanks Deus.🙂

I looked at that word and thought 'is it right?' LOL - and I couldn't recall the other name 'Konjac' either.

Thanks Deus!

I remember seeing this, and none of them invested because they were rubbery IIRC. I'd be interested to know if they're any good though. I quite like my courgette spaghetti now, but it would be good for my girlfriend who has recently started LCHF and she loves her pasta and rice.

I'm converted to courgetti.🙂

No cougetti for me after the crazed stomach cramps etc they gave me but free from spaghetti works for me ok.
