Surprisingly not bad. Bit of a life changer. Not sure if it's sunk in properly.
Indeed. Am I right in thinking you've just found out you have diabetes? Hopefully, they will look after you well in the hospital. If you've got any questions, let us know. Diabetes isn't a great diagnosis to get, but the good thing is that it is possible to control it well. A life-changer, for sure, but often surprisingly one that can lead to much better health in the long run. It will take a while to sink in, so try not to get overwhelmed by it all.

I hope you recover quickly, and have a good night's rest.

Hello Keith, welcome aboard 🙂 Sorry you're not having a great time of it at the moment, and I imagine that on top of everything else diabetes must feel like the final straw. Hope you're recovering well and you find lots of useful information and support here.

Hi keith, welcome to the forum. Hope you are getting over your heart attack and the shock of the diabetes. This forum is a great place for help and advice. I know it has certainly helped me after being diagnosed this year.

Thanks all. Really just waiting for diabetics nurse and heart scan. Was on insulin via a drip. On injections last blood sugar 20.5.

Hope the scan goes well Keith 🙂 I wouldn't worry too much about the blood sugars at the moment after what you've been through, but good to see them coming down 🙂

Welcome Keith, hope you feel better really soon, there's plenty of helpful people on this forum.
