Good morning everyone. I set the alarm last night for 23.30 pm and the reading was 'LO', the lowest actual reading on my meter is 1.7 so this must have been lower than that. I had four jelly babies and a slug or two of Fanta and re-set the alarm for 01.30. At 01.30 the reading was 5.2. I just drank some more Fanta as chewing jelly babies at that time of the morning was hard work - they are now as hard as humbugs! It's now 09.18 and my reading is 7.0 which is slightly higher than my normal reading at this time of day - but I ain't complaining.

.

So glad you set your alarm Michael - phew! I was worried you were going to be too tired to bother. Pleased your fine now. Take it easy today 🙂

So pleased you are back on an even keel now Michael! You handled things very well, and let's hope you never have to deal with such a problem again - I imagine it's something that will stick in your mind for quite a while!

Take care, get plenty of rest today and keep an eye on your levels, things can be a bit unstable after such an experience and the 'LO' you had.

Hi. Took the dogs for a run in the campo this morning - well, they ran, I walked. Took my mobile with me just in case, if I do get into trouble it can send a GPS signal so that I can be found. Luckily I was fine. Luckily also today is not so hot, only about 90. It maxed a few weeks ago at 118 but now we are settling in for Autumn.

Can't tell you all how grateful I am for your help. Michael.

And we're very happy to hear you are OK Michael! Don't do it again! 😉

Good to hear your night was OK, Michael12420. Make sure you buy more supplies of sweets etc to replace what you've eaten.

No need, last Spring my sister, on her visit, bought so many jelly babies Ryanair wanted separate boarding cards for 'em!
