Um...

Me again :D

Another question, how quickly can/should BG drop?

I've been feeling icky all afternoon so have been testing regularly and seem to have dropped what i consider quite quickly, does this seem so to you?

2.25 - 9.5
4.30- 6.6
5.15 - 4.6

I do actually feel quite sick and headachy with it, which I guess could be symptoms of the drop, but I thought I would see if anyone else experiences this.

Thanks (I'm sure one day the questions will stop!)

^^^ that looks like a good recovery to me - I'd be pleased if my levels dropped that quickly (and they do sometimes). But what do the others think?

Ah that's ok then, I was a bit concerned. But when I thought about it I probably feel a bit iffy as they aren't used to being that low! 🙄

i can only speak from a type 1 perspective - Miss D ; I dont know if you're on D+E, oral meds or injections?
I think the drop is pretty normal - I've had that sort of pattern for the last few weeks, (dont know if thats pregnancy related though. ).
I wouldnt worry about it as long as you have fast acting carbs in case you get a hypo.

Yes, I'd agree that it is fairly normal. That naughty cake you had would have probably raised your levels quickly, but wouldn't have sustained you at the higher level.

As you think, it's likely that the lower than normal level is what is making you feel odd/icky 🙂
