Had my annual check yesterday and was offered it then.

Do feel a bit more achy than usual today, but it could also be that last night was my fourth day running in a row. I'll give it a rest today I think.

Had mine last week when I went in for my B12 jab.

not getting mine for another 2 weeks (as long as it doesnt get cancelled again).

have put up a illness shield round me to prevent getting anything til then

Arm is feeling a bit sore now after my jab this morning. Couldn't believe my eyes when I got to the surgery - there are usually about 20-30 people queueing, but this morning there must have been at least 150, snaking all the way round the block! Nice little earner for the surgery, methinks! Played my usual game of 'spot the diabetic'. Well, not really possible if they are diabetic pensioners, but the chances are that if someone is under 60 in the queue they have diabetes or another long-term condition! 🙂

Mines booked for next week, OH is gettin one this yer reason being its free for him since he's a stroke victim

Alan my mil had hers this morning she said same happened to her as u ques were unreal

Mine was yesterday. Only about 5 minutes queueing time, it stung a bit going but my arm is barely sore today. Best one for years!

got mine at work on thursday, no queue and no side effects!

Done this morning and no problems, though I don't feel too spritely now...

Mine done this morning, straight in and out, never felt a thing, too busy talking to nurse!

Mind, my arm a little bit achy now, but not as bad as previous years.

I totally agree, I couldn't believe how many people were at my clinic either! I was the only one under at least 70 when I attended, stuck out like a sore thumb and got a lot of looks, both sympathetic and surprised. :D

had mine yesterday & my god, i can barely move my left arm (it didnt help i had the sadistic nurse)

anyone elses bloods gone haywire since having it done?

I rang up my GP's last Month to book mine and was told they had been giving flu jabs but I could not get an appointment for mine until 18th Nov!! Even when I told the receptionist that I was in a high risk group.

Our surgery runs clinics on two Saturdays in October. I went for mine last Saturday - huge queue! 😱 All done in around 15 minutes though and arm a bit sore for a couple of days, but nothing serious. As I'm still recovering from the worst cold I've had for years it certainly brought it home how much worse flu would be 😱 No noticeable impact on blood sugar levels.
