Got there in plenty of time for appointment, had the drops and scan then waited 45 mins to see consultant. He looked at my eyes and said the immortal words 'you can hardly tell you're diabetic, whatever it is that you are doing, keep doing it'! 🙂 He said there was some slight scarring but it is very stable and I just need to go back in 9 months. If it is still the same then I will be discharged back to normal annual screening.

Thanks everyone 🙂 I'm sure it's a wind-up by the consultants, this has been going on for 3 years now! 🙄 When I went in June they obviously thught they'd seen something, yet today's consultant (don't think I've seen the same one twice) seemed to have trouble believing I'm even diabetic 🙄 Still, not complaining about people being cautious where my sight is concerned 🙂
 
What a relief. I'm glad they're being careful, but still...
