In Hospital next week

Well I'm going into hospital on Monday at 8am to have the forth stent. That is if they can get it in. Some arteries are a bit damaged with diabetes and the last time, 18 months ago, I had a heart attack while having stents fitted, due to a blood clot getting in the way. So this time they are probably going to keep me in for a couple of days.

If they can't get it in, then we will have to wait and see what is to happen next.

All a bit daunting really.

Hello Vic, I hope it all goes well. I have two close friends with similar problems. The one with D found the stents life-changing and is a new person. The non-D had to have a bypass instead. I hope you fall into the former category. 🙂

Well I'm back, managed to get out of hospital yesterday. Had another Stent in front of my heart and the others were checked to make sure they were OK.
Glad to be home, but feeling a bit bashed and battered, so will be taking it easy for the next few days.
