Me and Jen are hoping to attend the Brighton meet, but it's too early to know if we will be able to make it for sure. 99% certain though.

Would be just as happy if it's Southampton though as I could pop to pompey and see the Victory.

Might Southampton be better for people then? Obviously would for me! My problem is that if I don't get my train tickets soon then I won't be able to afford to come!

Has anyone booked theirs yet and not told me they are coming?

See!! should have put that in the poll lol:D I don't mind Southampton in fct it may be better for occupying my small mind for a whole day lol.

Alan it is not looking good is it?....I wonder why no interest at this point?
When I saw it was looking a bit sparsely attended I bit consider coming, but since we are driving back from Dorset in the middle of the week before (the weekend before we will be just the other side of the forest) and the week after the meet our kitchen is being ripped out 😱😉 my wife has ruled it out.

Apparently I need to be packing the contents of the kitchen into boxes for storage anywhere that I can.

I have not booked train tickets as it's seems no one is going, I think Southampton would be a better choice at this point 🙂

brighton

Sorry been busy in the sun...would be up for a brighton meet but it looks like its not going to happen

Alan I will not be coming as there is no one else going :( cannot leave it till the last minute as fares for train to expensive, I really hope there will be more interest for Southampton 🙂

It's weird how the meets have lost their popularity. I wonder if it's co-incidental like people just have other things on or if interest ha been lost. I think everybody is great on here and love to meet up, I can't see that changing anytime soon.

No problems. It's a difficult time of year to plan for and not a convenient location for a lot of people. I'll put up a thread about Southampton tomorrow instead and cancel this one.

I really enjoyed the Glasgow trip, but it was a financial strain. I'm trying to manage enough for the Brummie one, though I doubt I can do it - not just financially but physically, it's an 8 hour journey for me to get there. I'd love to be able to meet more of you though.

It is a long journey, particularly for you Alison. Does Manchester look any better for you?
