Yes you can 🙂

Thanks- Hungry H is not a great sight

We never plan ahead and get any new insulin out of the fridge in advance, just when it needs replacing. My son obviously then uses it cold then the pen lives on his desk until it needs replacing/new cartridge inserting. My friend, on the other hand, ALWAYS keeps even the pen in use in the fridge though if they are home. No problems either way as far as I am aware.

If I ever do that I just make a fist around the pen and it soon warms up in a minute or 2. Insulin from the fridge stings more than normal, but there's nothing wrong with doing it if you can take the pain 😛

I have always been advised to keep the 'in use' pen out of the fridge. I'm not sure exactly why, but I think it says so even in the PIL leaflet?
