Hello everyone.

As usual I am looking for advice;last Friday I had a steroid injection for inflamation caused by psoriatic arthiritis and I was told that it could cause my blood sugars to temporarily rise;the thing is that I am have felt off colour since having the injection and I was wondering how long it should take for things to settle down.
The doctor said a little while but that doesn't tell me much!

I could go and see my GP but by the time I get an appointment I would have forgotten what it was for!

Hiya,
on average the effects on blood sugars last about 10 days :(
Hope you soon feel better.

Thanks Pumper_Sue,I am starting to feel better but it took me by surprise that I felt as tired and run down as I did.
I will likely need the injections again but I might ask about temporarily increasing my medication if I do.
