Over the past month or so I've noticed I keep getting a recurring mouth ulcer. Always in the same place, heals up and disappears after a couple of days then comes back again a day or so later. I looked it up and one of the possible causes I read was peanuts, which I eat a lot of. So, I decided to stop eating them - and the ulcer has not come back for about 4 days so far!

Anyone else have this?

Not with peanuts, but I do get inflamed taste buds if I pig out on fresh pineapple.

Not had a problem with peanuts (my snack of choice) mouth ulcers for me always seem to be 'change toothbrush' time

or maybe a tooth rubbing against the side of your mouth or tongue, especially during the night...grinding teeth etc?

No, it's not in a position where that might be causing it. The funny thing is that I have been eating copious amounts of peanuts since diagnosis and not had a problem until recently - perhaps it's just coincidence, although it is on the side of my mouth that I tend to eat on
