I've been hypo since before 10.30, I had dropped to 2.1.

I've been treating it with lucozade & fruit pastels but I'm only 3.5.

I feel horrid & I want to pass out.

Work know I'm in hypo but am expected to get on with it.

Can I just send my diabetes to summer camp for a week?

That's shocking Laura! Can you think of any reason for it? Hope you are feeling much better very soon 🙂

I'm stressed & upset.
I've been in tears for most of the morning as I can't get used to my new BG meter & I don't feel right

I had less insulin this morning as I wasn't hungry so can't think I'm over dosing

Ugh! sounds horrid Laura.

In your shoes I'd reduce basal by 10% or 20% tomorrow and see how that worked out. Really persistent hypos (or highs) often seem to end up being my basal.

Hope you manage to get back to better numbers and avoid careering into a high.

Mike

I hope you are feeling better, send the dread D to summer camp, I'll sendmine with it for company...

I'm giving D his pocket money so he can have a nice time with his friends (yes my diabetes is a boy)

I'm now at 4.1 but still feeling it!

I always wanted to scream at em (work) Don't be ridiculous, it takes 45 minutes before my brain will work again

But the trouble with that is esp if it's more than like once a year or something - I thought they'll decide you are a drain on their resources and not up to it, Goodbye.

I did have to laugh the once - I did have a very BAD hypo at about 5.30 pm one night which was a 999-er.

So months later I had another, much milder one, only about 3.4 or something! and before I knew where I was they'd called an ambulance, 'in case'. Well I was well out of being low by the time they got there and the ambulance man told my manager she'd need to TAKE me home! (not send me) Face like a bloody prune! Tee Hee.
