Aw. I hope you feel better soon.
Could it be an allergy? I have hay fever and tree pollen is doing its thing at the moment.

Interesting, my GP said I might have low-grade (whatever that is) hay fever. I too have been a bit bunged up the past few days but no obvious signs of a cold. Might start my antihistamine then.

I started on my anti histamines this week. I have had the bunged up feeling for a wee while now. I also bought a new duvet, changed my bedding etc. Also was reading that dairy products cause the production of phlegm. So I have been dairy free for 2 weeks now, although I haven't really noticed much difference. But my friend has started on her anti histamines too this week and says she feels better.

Yeah it just so annoying make me feel absolute dead for first hour or so

Hi Oliver1992

I know how you feel. Most mornings when I wake up I sound like I have a dozen colds and can't stop spluttering.

I have put it down to the really cold weather and old age, I'm 43 lol :D

Hi Oliver,

it definitely sounds like an allergy to something. I have allergies to virtually everything you can think of (moss, mould, animal fur, grass, plated metals....). Get to your doctor and they will perform an allergy test on you (where they put smll amounts of popular allergy materials on small pin pricks on your arms and see wht you react you). Or, if they're not that thorough they may just diagnose it as hayfever and stick you on some beconase or nasonex (I'm on the latter).

try and avoid quick relief products though as they hook you through dependency (your nose gets used to the use so you end up needing more and more each time just to have the same effect) - Vicks do one that's lethal. he might just suggest anti-histamine tablets (I use piriton and they wonder WONDERS for me).
