Hey all,
Not been around for a bit and hope you are all well. Turns out not being on here aids with being a bit lazy with D so I plan to be back more often (keep myself accountable to something!)...

Anyway, that's not what this post is about... I just wanted to say my husband is simply gorgeous - got home the other night and saw a letter from Diabetes UK on the table... figured it was for me (OH isn't diabetic) but on closer inspection saw that not only was it for him but he'd signed up to make regular charity donations to them. I asked him about it and he said - well its something that is close to my heart so I need to do what I can...

Isn't he just amazing!!!

Anyway, have fab Sundays all. 🙂

Awww how lovely of him

I'm good 🙂 although have been lazier than I should have been with D...

With the move to London, new job etc. and its taken 3 months for my new GP to finally sort out my referral (first hospital appointment on 4th Feb) I guess I became a bit deflated about the whole thing - it became a low priority. But I'm back on it now - concentrating again and my levels have improved massively over the last couple of weeks :D. I'm guessing my next hba1c is going to be about 8% so I'm sure that will kick my butt into doing something too!

How is all with you?

Glad to hear you are fine H 🙂 Good luck with the apt as well.
I'm fine ta, just plodding along as normal 🙂

Ah that is so sweet of him Hannah. He obviously truly loves you. And I recall you were questioning the whole marriage thing before you tied the knot (I know that was only because you were newly diagnosed and somehow felt it wasn't fair on him, not REAL doubts about HIM) but see, he's a good 'un, keep hold of him!

Glad to hear life is treating you well and you are settling down to your new life. Long may it continue.

Tina

That is so lovely.

My OH is thinking of running a 10K (maybe further distance too) to raise money for Diabetes UK this year too. I need to kick his butt into it! 😉
