Don't let diabetes stand in your way? Request for volunteers :)

Hi

I'm hoping you might be able to help me. I'm a Type 1 photographer working with Diabetes UK to get pictures of people with diabetes to go on their website. You can see some already on their homepage www.diabetes.org.uk and more here on my site www.jamesclarke.me/galleries/diabetes. The idea is to get a collection of portraits of inspiring and interesting people with Type 1 or 2 Diabetes doing exciting or interesting things and showing that you should not let diabetes get in the way of what you love doing in life.

I'm hoping that you could ask your members if any would be interested in volunteering. I am based in East Sussex but volunteers can be from anywhere in the UK as I am prepared to travel to get these inspiring pictures. Diabetes Uk have helped me get some volunteers but I'm keen to try other avenues to get as many different types and ages of people as possible. Having looked around your support forum seems to be the best and its good that something like this operates outside of Diabetes UK.

Hi Ewelina, There's a contact button on his website (www.jamesclarke.me/galleries/diabetes). I got in touch offering pictures of the Great Wall of China, but he hasn't replied yet.
