So had a few rough days of levels being all over the place I was having a couple of hypos a day plus high levels of around 16 BUT the past two days have been a huge improvement with a spike 2 hours after each meal between 6-9 but other than that my levels throughout the day have stayed between 5-7 best yet... So pleased it was worth the rough days and I did it without any 'professional' help wooo hooo 🙂

sounds brilliant. Often the best experts to consult are ourselves as we are the people who know us best of all.

🙂 well that and good advice on here. I was wondering whats the safety levels to go to sleep on?

For me, once I knew that my basal was keeping me steady overnight and that I was going to bed with all my fast-acting out of my system (i.e. at least 5 hours since injecting) then I was happy to go to bed around 5-6 mmol/l. I have still been caught out once or twice though, so you can never be complacent - your basal requirements might decide to change so that what you have been happy taking is suddenly 1 unit too much. Such is diabetes! 🙄
