Well 24 hours anyway 😡

Started to rain yesterday afternoon, and did it rain.
Neighbour ended up flooded so helped to mop her out.
This morning my turn an inch of water in my conservatory, plus the patio under water drains couldn't cope. Phone lines went down last night as well, seems as if a problem at the exchange, have intermediate internet now but phone just a dreadfull crackle which is an improvement than no phone.

Did I miss summer?

It just has to dry now ! Have used an aquamaster to suck up the water and the mop to get the last bits. Master is on standby for the next lot 😱

Did think about putting all the plants on ground level to save watering. But suspect they would either drown or start swiming lol.

Houses all fine now ta.
Things did get a bit interesting earlier though as a large volume of water collected in the entrance to the estate. Drains all blocked and it looked as if the whole lot was going to go through the garages of 2 houses 😱
That was sorted ok then we realised there was water bubbling up from the tarmac. After checking most carefully and finding no whale we called the water board due to a ruptured water main.

Lesson on how not to spend a quiet Sunday lol.
