Does anyone have any recipes for a very simple homamade chilli recipe using mince beef?

Thank you Northerner,
Your recipe sounds really good but one thing, could i add the red kidney beans at the end & take my portion out? This is me being fussy as the rest of the family (hubby, daughter & son) love them.
p.s. one of the reasons I put sweetcorn in is so that I can easily distiguish the chilli from other mince dishes when they are frozen!![]()

Just buy foil trays with lids (the type the curry shop uses) and write on the lid with felt tip pen what it is.
packet of 8 costs ?1.
For my chilli I do the following:
Fry 500g lean mince in a big pan. Drain off the excess fat and remove meat from pan. Add a splash of vegetable oil to pan and fry three large, chopped onions and a large pepper. Return the meat to the pan and add a tin of red kidney beans and three tins of peeled plum tomatoes (preferably also chopped), two oxo cubes, a teaspoon of 'very lazy' chilli and 4 teaspoons of hot chilli powder. Finally, add a tin (or frozen) of sweetcorn and leave it all to simmer for an hour or so. This will make about 6 portions for me, so I eat one and freeze the rest 🙂 This makes a very hot chilli, so if you're not a fan of hot, then omit the very lazy chilli and perhaps use mild chilli powder instead!
