6.99 is a bargain.................🙂

Cheap as chips but 0.9㎕ sample size, thats quite a lot.

Doh! I was trying to work out why you had titled the thread 'Cheat', then it dawned on me that it was a typo and you couldn't edit it! Now changed to cheap! :D

It's funny how we get used to things, like tiny sample size, isn't it? I don't know since I've only been diagnosed less than 4 years, but I imagine the early meters required at least an armful and an hour's recovery under close observation...😱 :D

That is a bargain, can anyone see any problems with it, is it in our units of measurement etc., not American. I take readings but forget what the actual reading are.😱 If its ok I will get one, hate going on the auction site to get them.

Doe, just looked at my meter andit is mmol/l🙄

Oh No They Didn't !

I reckon they probably needed err around 9ul - no idea of actual amount but it was a noticeable 'bead' of blood, not a pinprick like now.

What with that and my calculator, both being the size of half a housebrick (unlike the average mobile phone which was the size of a whole housebrick) since the advent of the personal meter, I've always needed a pantechnicon to carry me belongings in!

Why can't health boards/PCTs push more for cheaper supplies rather than trying( in some circumstances) to restrict availability to iinadequate quantities?
I wonder what the accuracy of these strips are- did not check whether they come with control solution( or if they are presribable)
I would have absolutely no problem with changing to a cheaper supply to cut nhs expenditure as long as decreased accuracy was not an issue

According to their documentation there is a control solution available, but like everything with this product you have to phone Korea (+82 dial code) or your country supplier. The EC contact is based in Germany but how you get any support, who knows?, do you need it? Just get another if it goes wrong, I guess. The one selling it on Amazon is contactable by email via Amazon.

I contacted the Amazon supplier to ask if they intended to stock the strips permanently and they replied they make no profit on the meter but do on the strips, hence they intend it to be a long term commitment.

They added that it has been a popular item since launch in November.
