The Co-op has 360g bags of dry roasted peanuts for 50p! Their own brand are 65p for 100g so cost the equivalent of 5 times as much! I bought 5 bags - should keep me going for a while 🙂

Sainsbury's had 500g tubs of HP Dry Roasted in for 30p each - all dated March 2012.

I'm guessing they didn't sell any at all. Consistently over christmas the 500g tubs were more then the 500g bags at the other end of the aisle.

The annoying thing is that my branch of the Co-op didn't have any at all over Christmas and I eat them all the time. I guess these might be left-over stock from the bigger store a couple of miles away.
