....5 months actually.

I have been away, due to illness that meant i couldnt sit at the computer!!!! How sad was that. Also had mega probs with BS that meant i just slept for around 18-20 hours a day!.

Hey there Hope your well mandy/marcie(?)sorry if thats wrong name think i used to get you confused with another member,Sorry to hear you have been so poorly but I hope your on the mend now how do you feel?

I am actually okay now, although i do have to limit the time on the PC, which is a pain (literally, lol).

Have come off of the Byetta and the Glic. but am 54 units Lantus am, and then 36, 38, 36 Novorapid at meals. Have only just started using the Novo this week due to the shortage of Apidra, and it has already made a difference to my levels. Hopefuly they will let me stay on it. Havent been below 10 for nearly 6 months, and this week have only had one OVER 10, and that was last night (went for a meal for hubby's birthday, and although i didnt have desert out did have a really small piece of his Birthday cake when we got back). Was 11.2 last night, 7.7 this morning.

How are you doing? Are you still working in Greggs?

The house it great now, nice big family home, all I need are the sprogs to fill it and we now in the adoption process so ...... fingers crossed
 
Oh Thats fab news. About both things. How far into the process for adoption are you?

Hi Mandy, lovely to hear from you again! 🙂 You are always welcome, so never worry about posting after an absence. I'm very sorry to hear that you have been ill, I hope that things are much better for you now. Certainly, the change to novorapid seems to suit you - it may be something to do with the way it peaks in contrast to the Apidra. Since it seems to suit you so well I can't think of any reason why they would want you to change back.

Sorry about the delay in getting back, pleased you are off Byetta etc, i came off my injections last month and im back on D/E,its great to hear your numbers are mostly i single figures xx
Yeah still there but been jon hunting for the past month or so, so just being paceint and waiting

Caroline - It has been a long hard six months. And im sure to have relapses, in fact i have been told i will, but i seem to have found a long positive feeling vibe at the mo. Long may it last. I know when i fall, i will fall long and hard, but my mind is at least prepared for it all now.

Gonna read the jokes in a mo - that should leep me going 😉
