i really simpathise with you i had my bladder cut when i had the c section i was with a catether for two weeks the worst tme of my life i was so scare to be incontinent all my life luckly is everything fine now i wish you all the best !!!

thanks everyone, still feeling very very fragile as you can imagine and really don't want to go to work today. I will though, as sitting around will just make ne feel worse. I'm dreading telling my boss as I'll end up in tears (and he always looks very uncomfortable whenever I burst into tears - it happens alot at the moment).

I'm going to try my hardest to step back on the d wagon as of today, and I'm doing a full on basal test from now until I get home later. Sugar free jelly will be brought from the co-op on the way out in a few

I hope work goes well for you. Just a suggestion, is there a lady (in HR or doing welfare) that might be more comfortable handling this with you?

I'm so sorry Sam, and I hope you're feeling a bit stronger today and that there's workable a solution for you.

yeah I didn't really want to sit there and read about all the types of catheter I may or may not have to wear thanks and that I may have to cut down on nice stuff :( It's just made me cry all over again

The doctor has signed me off work and I'm on anti depressents again. Great stuff.

Going to crawl back in my hole now

Oh for heavens sake, the link was practical advice on how to help yourself with diet and exercise.
If you wont help yourself you really can't expect anyone else to offer any help or sympathy.

what the hell?! Did you not read that whole thing about how I'm on anti depressents again? I have been officially diagnosed with depression today also, its a rough time for crying out loud and I just got this news YESTERDAY. So there's no need for you to get all in my face because I stated that something made me a little upset.

It's reasons like this I left this forum in the first place

See ya

Sorry sam

Didn't know that all you were after was sympathy..

Sorry I can't do symapthy, empathy I can

Yes life is far from bad with bladder problems..

As a person who have lived with this for over 30 years, the only time I've ended up being catherised is when I was pregnant.. I know people who self catherise because they can't pass water.. They don't water leg bags, just catherise themsleves to pass urine when needed..

They don't moan and wail, the carry on with their lives as normal
