stressful time

Sorry to hear about your unwelcome visitors and loss of treasured items.
Glad to hear Daisy is close by though and fingers crossed she will pluck up courage to come into the house.

Been there with the burglary and the sentimental items - not nice.

They caught my burglar 6 months after he did it and he said he did it because he was bored - he was 16 and given a 3 month suspended sentence. He died 2 months later joy riding trying to escape the police! I often think if they had given him a custodial sentence things may have been different for him.
 
So sorry to hear that Will. It's such a horrible thing to be burgled and your personal memories stolen.

I'm wishing Daisy comes back soon!! Hopefully she's just been scared off, but will be back 😱
 
Daisy update

the wee sod is now coming into the conservatory and eating and then going out again, so putting the bowl deeper and deeper into the dining room, once she's in far enough i can then nip out the kitchen door and close her in, once thats done i can fully open up the house and let her see her 2 brothers and she will soon settle again, well thats my cunning plan, but when i tried earlier i fell over the barbecue wheel and went flying and she bounced out and ran across my back, i think she's now wetting herself at my antics 🙂

operation catch Daisy, mission impossible! hired a cat trap from Battersea Cats home, set it up, with food, they said if she comes in it will def spring and catch her, an hour later the foods gone and she's no where to be seen and the trap is not sprung! shes a ninja!!!! and she's making me look dumb, shades of caddyshack and gophers here!

Daisy sounds very cute and funny:D. Maybe she found other people to feed her when she disappeared and is now doing a tour so that she has a three course dinner each evening. I used to have a part-time cat who was meant to live in the opposite house.
