Something which dawned on me this morn is I have not experienced temperatures in the 30's on holiday since being diagnosed.

Does anyone know how this could affect the d. will it potentially make me low or high?
I was ok when I went to Mauritius a couple of years ago as temperature was between 25 and 28 degrees

It was nearly 30 degrees here in Hampshire last week! 🙂 I think most people tend to be lower than normal in the heat, but there are also some people who go higher - one of thoise individual things it seems! Logic would say to me that you would go lower, especially as you are on insulin, as it might be absorbed more quickly 🙂

I though going lower might be the case will be keeping a very close eye on things. Got my 4 day tour to start with - might we worth dropping a unit or two straightway. Then hopefully lots of swimming after that. I'm debating on if to take my running stuff as well. I did when I went to Mauritius but only ran twice 🙄

Got a massive stash of glucose tablets to take as well.
