Hi guys, fairly new to the board though I've been T1 for 6 years or so now.

I generally don't snack much as I have around 70g of carb for breakfast lunch and dinner and it seems to keep me going throughout the day, however, when I do feel like something I usually turn to either cold meats, a little cheese or eggs or a tin of tuna

I'm getting a bit bored of these things though and was wondering what everyone else does for no carb snacks?

How about a handfull of nuts or some cucumber or some celery? Not sure too much about dips as I never or very rarely use them, but I know some people like celery and a low fat dip or a little peanut butter.

Ok firstly a warning often foods low in carbs a stuffed full of calories so eat at your own peril if you are trying to loose weight!

Pepperami
Cheese
Olives
Ham meats
Just think protein.

Mini Babybel lights and tesco do these mini chicken kievs filled with creamy cheese which is my latest snack fancy.

What levels are you seeing after these "no carb" snacks? Cos I have to inject for anything regardless of carb, protein can affect my BG by up to 5 mmol. Though if you are eating a total of 210g carb throughout the day possibly your body won't take any glucose from protein.
