Hi
Being new to all this I've got to see the dietitian later to day, just wondered if there is anything I should be asking. I've been told I am type 2 and am taking 500mg of Metformin once a day.

I'm not sure what questions you should be asking but, depending on how good they are, you could ask them to explain about how the different food groups (protein carbs, fat) are digested and how they affect you.🙂

I am also type 2 on 500mg of Metformin but have not been offered the services of a dietician. If I had, I would be asking about ideas for snacks that are not going to cause me a problem.

I would advice you to take a food diary with you of your daily intake, thats if youv'e not been asked to do so.
You could then ask her if you are getting the correct nutrients.
