Got my latest HbA1c today ... 6.6%. Really happy as it was 7.1% in March - but I know this is more down to frequent hypos than good control.

Woooo-Hooo!

Well done that's great news. A really good score.

Now the great challenge of keeping it there......

That's great news, well done! Hopefully the hypos will be less frequent over the coming months, but your HbA1c will be just as good! 🙂

Well done long may it coninue🙂

Hi Steff, no of course I don't mind you asking, thank you for remembering! I can't remember what the situation was when I last mentioned it exactly but my niece is now 19 months old and has been walking of sorts for 3 months but falls over all of the time. Somebody recently asked my mum what my niece's disability is as she is so unsteady. I talked to brother and SIL again about this last week but they are dead against the special boots to strengthen ankles so have decided together not do anything about it until she is over 2 years old (although they say they have seen a gp who has also backed them on this! - which will then probably become 3 yrs, 4 yrs ... I have said very strongly what I think, but it doesn't seem I can do much more. I feel she will fall and hurt herself badly soon, she falls so frequently that one day it is bound to happen. :(

Wow Newbs that is a fantastic HBA1C result - I have never, ever managed one that low. You must be so pleased with yourself
