Is anyone else finding the hot weather is raising the BS reading? Or is it the ice cream I had yesterday after visiting Homebase ? 😉 🙂 I was only up to 8.6 but my usual readings now are about 5-6
Just wondering !!

The combination of hot weather and ice cream does all kinds of things to people. I hope you enjoyed the ice cream, it was a nice cool treat.

Personally I find the heat very stressfull and last night found myself sitting in an arm chair because I was too hot to breath laying down.

My levels are actually lower even had a 3.9 yesterday,I always go one way or another in heat this bad

I dunno. It's not fair, we're frizz up here. Since Dx, I haven't actually been anywhere hot enough to know what will happen to my BGs when the temperature rises. I was in Spain at Easter, but the north is about the same as here at that time.

Most people find that their levels drop in hot weather, particularly if they are on insulin as the insulin can get absorbed more quickly from the injection site, but some go the opposite way - obviously you're one of the weirdos 😉 :D

How soon after the ice cream did you test?

Both my two have noticed this over the last couple of days.

It was a long time after the ice cream that I tested , so hopefully that had nothing to do with it !!!!! 🙂
My reading this morning was back at 6.4 so better . The swim this morning was fantastic - cool and restful on the mind 🙂

How strange after being low yesterday , im high today reading was 17
