Oh the excitement!! One of those things only someone with diabetes could get remotely excited over... I've had a One Touch blood meter for yonks, and have always known that it's possible to download the data, however lost all the software in various moves and have only now (yesterday) got round to re-ordering it! So, it landed on my doorstep about an hour ago and ever since I have been over-excited and fascinated by the fact I can see graphs of my results (pie charts, bar charts, line graphs, you name it!) and averages, and summaries and I can set up different 'time zones' for working days and non-working days... Why didn't I do this sooner?! Such a geek, hehe 😎

But on a more serious, less excitable, note... I really hope the software will prove useful in seeing patterns in my readings 🙂

Good use of my half term holiday...

It can be very useful - I spotted that I was generally much lower in levels on Saturdays and Wednesdays, using my 'Average day' option. Still haven't worked out why, mind you! But overall very useful to see the percentages of hypos and in-range readings over different time periods.🙂

That's great news and to have such a thing is dead handy, I have an optium xceed and had all the software etc, only thing is it's not compatible with Vista so can't use mine, even went on the site for software support and definatly no vista help, just xp and windows 2000, but glad you got yours up and running, I hope it helps you out oodles 🙂

Anything that helps us to be in control of the diabetes rather than the diabetes in control of us has to be good.

*wonders if they do it for the optium exceed* ?????

dont think so mike, it doesnt appear to have a hole to plug anything in!

The lead for the pc is like a test strip at the end so yes there is a hole 😛

urgh, i still havent ordered mine! so many things to do... :D

Do it, Katie! Honestly, I rang at lunchtime yesterday, it came through today and it was installed in about 10 minutes. Easy peasy.

The number's 0800 121200 if you have a One Touch 🙂

Haha... That made me laugh! You can call me Jeeta if you want!! :D Lots do!

Yeah, when I rang I just asked to be sent the CD and the USB. I guess if I hadn't I may have only got the CD. The woman was very helpful, asked if there was anything else I needed (I almost asked what was on offer!) but did get some fresh control solution sent through too which was handy!
