I'm going for my blood test tomorrow, although my appointment with the consultant is not until 14th June. Thought I may as well get the test done now so it can take account of the lovely levels I've had lately! 🙂

Any guesses? Since diagnosis I've been 11.8, 6.8, 5.4, 5.2, 5.6, 5.9 and 5.9. Will I stay in the 5% club?

I'm going to go with a nice tidy 5.5. Good luck. XXXXX

I think it will be 5.3%

I will go for 5.6% - good luck 🙂

I'm going with 5.8 🙂 good luck

Hope it's a goodie Alan (sure to be). I've not had an A1c for ages. And it's been put back to the end of the summer 🙄

Good luck - I was going to go for a value that has been taken - but I think somewhere in the upper 5s.

Thanks Mike. I would normally only get one done once a year if I had the 'official' ones, but I ask my GP if she can arrange one every 6 months and she's happy to do it, so might be worth asking yours. As it happens, this time it's another official one as my new consultant wanted to see me 6 months after our first appointment.

There has been a change in the team at the hospital, was supposed to have an annual review this month but there's a bit of a backlog. Might ask if it goes on much longer than that!

4.8?......probably better now than pre-diagnosis.....actually are you sure you are diabetic?😉

I'm guessing 5.4% Good luck 🙂

I'll go with 5.6% 🙂

Your weekly stats were razor sharp and the last 2 or 3 weeks have a big influence on the outcome. Not that it would have been bad before then 🙄:D

Hi Alan,

I reckon 5.6% - Good luck!

Well they've taken the blood now so I can eat or drink what I want for the next 4 weeks and they won't be able to tell me off! Only joking! I'm hoping I'm doing as well then as I seem to be now - BP is perfect, BG pretty much perfect, within 'normal range' for BMI and a resting heart rate of around 50bpm. The only thing I don't know about is cholesterol which they are also testing for today. That was 4.6 last time, so if it's around that I'll be more than happy. 🙂

I'll guess at 5.2 going by your recent results, either way you just know it's going to be a good one this time around.🙂
