I was wondering if I could get the dog to tell me if I am having a hypo. Perhaps he could bring me a biscuit. As long as he does not expect me to sit and catch it with my mouth...

Not as crazy as it sounds. At least one member has an assistance dog who is being trained to detect BG levels 🙂

i'm thinking of making my sister a slave if have a hypo and making her go downstairs to get me stuff mwahahaha.

i had perfect hypo awareness for years i now have none what so ever doesnt matter if im doing anything or not wouldnt matter mine have well and truely gone!. I have been put on a pump to see if that would improve things or bring them back so far no luck weird when you need a gluco gun for a 2.9 but can be happy walking around at 1.2 (like last week) all i ever do is test test test i tend to go thought 400 testing strips a month sometimes more. which is rubbish because i have always hate testing more then injections
