im new to diabities and still not 100% sure on what things i can and can eat. can anyone give me a rough idea
Well I'm fairly new too, I was diagnosed T1. in november 2010. My hospital sent me to the dietician, haven't you seen one? she will tell you all you need to know about food. not sure re: T2, it's possibly quite different. I'm sure someone on here will tell you more. If not see your dietician/nurse.im new to diabities and still not 100% sure on what things i can and can eat. can anyone give me a rough idea

Oh dear, that's scary for you, I wanted and still want as much information as I can get. I'd maybe read up all you can on it and keep on at your surgery for an appointment. I've found the people on here are terribly helpful and informative. There are many T2's that will give you advice, they have possible been diabetic for a long time.havent seen dietician havent seen diabetic nurse as the surgery no longer has one got to wait for a replacement. doc gave me one leaflet and that was it
