Definately talk to them about it, it can only be good to hear their thoughts.

A couple of years ago my DSN was more worried about my handling of the psycology of diabetes rather than the sugar aspects. we had a chat and it put my mind on a more stable pathway.

Still occassionally prone to flip outs but find it easier to cope with the 'yesterday is done with, lets just look at today and tomorrow' instead approach.

Keep taking the tablets (or in my case the lizard spit too) and try to be positive.

Cheers

Hello Elwoodlpool. I know exactly how you feel. I get myself into bad panic attacks and I can't do anything about it. I also get in a right state before every d appointment. I think if I don't do well enough they will take my pump off me. They are always telling me that they won't as I am ding well. But then the little d voice says no you are not doing well at all and I always believe that d voice. pm me if you need some support I don't know if my help would be any help. We seem very similar. Take care and try to relax.😉

You do all help me big time,

I can pin point were all this started i lost my mum 2 years ago in some horrible circumstances and well i seemed to be set off from then and the diabetes coming along has not helped. When i go and see the nurse i will speak up and ask her about this and seek help..

Here is a little about my mum as its too much to type,,

Hi Mark

No wonder you suffer with paranoia you have had a lot to cope with after reading this article about your Mums care. 😡 I think speaking to somebody professionally will definely be able to help you cope with the loss of your mother and also help you with diabetes issues.

Take care

Hi Mark.

If you can, take a copy of the article in with you so your DSN can read it for herself. It will be a starting point for you to discuss your fears and feelings about the whole issue of health and how it's affected you.

If you can free yourself of these thoughts, you'll get your life back and your health will improve even more with it.

Best of luck and keep posting. 🙂

Thanks all it really did effect me and having all the coronor issues and the home issues with mum something just gave up in my mind.
As we speak there is a legal case happening too. So its all on my mind the diabetes thing came i feel at the wrong time and well ive had some issues surrounding my previous employment thats worrying me sick..

Id love to be free of the paranoia but i find it crazy when im doing the show i manage to turn it off. So for at least 2 hours im paranoia free,

I did realise i had drank abit of late too but in a way to forget my troubles. But i had a word with myself and looked at some old pictures and thought you dont want to be 20st again. So ive really gone back on the rails now bought some digital scales too and im still 17st bang on so today its been 2 wholemeal slices of toast for breakfast and lunch has been tuna pasta made with rice pasta and low fat mayo followed by an apple..

Just got to keep working at it. But again the back of my mind is saying this blood test is gonna un earth more bad things for me... Im an idiot..

Mark

P.s thank you to you all..
