Yes having a wonderful time in Scotland. Found a beachside camping spot, currently having a nice brew with this viewView attachment 36637

Looks fab, scotland is a lovely place to visit.

We were holidaying up south west coast back in April before boarding ferry to Belfast from Cairnryan port, stayed in Portpatrick which is pretty little village next to coast, worthwhile visiting area if your not far away @PhoebeC

If you ever make it back up, the East Neuk of Fife (near St Andrews) has some lovely villages - and fantastic restaurants, that are half the price you'd pay in London for the same quality.

Record temperature here in Stirling today: feels more like London in August
*waves* We're hoping to be in your neck of the woods soon. Plans aren't fixed but likely to include Stirling, Inverness, Glasgow, and probably a couple of days in Lancashire on the way back South.

Great: sounds like a packed itinerary!

How are the midges treating you? Or have their circadian rhythms been disrupted by global warming?
We managed to avoid them really as we stayed near the coast. Only one placed we spotted to make a brew did they cause any issue. One site we stayed at had some but not many and we avoided one.
I have a very small bite on my ankle but again that’s nothing for me and I think we did very well.
Home tomorrow.
