Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 🙂 5.3 here...so close.

One class this morning then I’ll nip to M&S to take some trousers back. Back home then to hit the Welsh books (for next year’s exam - there’s a lot I don’t know yet) and some gardening.

I fancy your day out @eggyg - sounds right up my street.

Morning all, 6.3 here. Definitely cooler outside, has yet to send the message to the bedroom though, it was hot and humid yesterday afternoon, and all the more unbearable for the wind dropping, I’d managed to have a gentle ride on the pony in the morning without either of us overheating, when there was a breeze blowing.

Morning all. A higher 9.3 but now dropping, currently 7s. A much better sleep was had last night, its a lot cooler this morning. Weekly shop to do and off to my friend's house for cuppa and craft.

@eggyg sounds like the perfect day out with a friend. Have a lovely time "ratching". We say "mooch" around here or sometimes "scout".

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all. 5.6. Think I was that yesterday too. At least I’m consistent.

Had a better night’s sleep as the house has cooled down considerably, it never stopped raining yesterday, absolutely lashing down and the highest temperature recorded was 16.5. It’s dry this morning, at least, but fresh, I don’t mind fresh. Picking up a friend at 11and we’re going for a run out to Penrith. Loads of cafes and independent shops including a bookshop and antique shops, but most excitingly, posh charity shops. We both like a ratch, Ann for clothes, and me too sometimes, but mostly china and books for me. It’s only 15 minutes up the M6 and we’ll come home via the A6 and pop into a garden centre. She’s very lonely since her husband died last year, one child, no grandchildren and her siblings died many years ago. So hopefully this will be a nice change for us both.

Have a wonderful Wednesday and hope you all get relief from the heatwave.( What heatwave?). 😉
Sounds like my wife’s perfect day out.Can she join you and sure she would fit in well as she loves posh Charity Shops and happy to search for clothes and other stuff and her mantra is you can never have enough plants.
We had a w/ end away in Centreparcs near Penrith a few years ago and went to Appleby on horse fair w/ end and she loved it ( happened to coincide with one of last times we spent with a great friend of hours who sadly died not long after).
I used to stop at North Lakes a lot mainly for coffee as preferred the Crown at Wetheral to stay overnight.
Happy memories.

Good morning all

Forgot to check in yesterday but, been trying to get up earlier so, as to start lower & it’s working: yesterday about 10:40 ish BS 6.1; today 09:04 BS 6.4. 🙂

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

I fell asleep some time after 13:00 yesterday, though because I forced myself up earlier & got up again around 19:00.

Today I went to bed around 3am & I’m up a bit later with a bit more sleep so, hopefully can last a bit longer before I doze off in the afternoon?

Edited to correct the time! Silly Little Miss Numpty! In case you’re wondering how I could post before I woke up! 08:04 BS 6.4 o_O:rofl:

Hold on a mo! You’re “Northern”? o_O
Hang on --- Eggyg is not northern. The north ends at Lancaster and from there on it is bandit country until you get to Scotland which is foreign. Eggyg gave the game away by talking about whippets, flat caps and posh charity shops. Up there it is all about sheepdogs, wellies and robbing offcomers..

A 6.3 for me today after another disturbed night due to the heat. 🙂

Agree Doc B.Is there not a border post at Carnforth?
It is bandit country all the way up to the border and when I looked at my family history we were classed as Reivers so basically sheep stealers who stole from the “ English and the Scottish side equally depending on who was in power at the time🙂

7.5 this morning. Muggy night woken by a watch/Dexcom notification at 3am saying that my sensor was temporarily not working and to wait 3 hours. Strange dip in the graph from around 8 units to a series of dots down near 3.1. Swallowed a glucose tablet just in case and went back to tossing and turning. Couldn’t be bothered to go downstairs to do a hated blood finger test. Went back to sleep eventually and woke to the 7.5 and sensor working OK. Ho hum.

Have a good day - drizzling here in SW London.

Nick

Morning everyone. Back in the low 4’s again today with a 4.2 on the finger prick.

After yesterday’s high of 33.2c it’s positively freezing out, only 22.5 this morning.

Have a great day everyone and stay cool.

That’s right. Mr Eggy is a Border Revier, I only married into them! We’re Grahams, the worst of the worst! Youngest daughter married an Elliott, sworn enemies of the Grahams. We’re a right mix up here in bandit land. I’m 53% Scots and 20% Irish. The rest is a mix of English, Norwegian and German.

My Dad was Scottish so as far as he was concerned everyone the other side of the border was a Sassenach or southerner. He moved away as a young man so all his children were born in Hampshire except one who was born in Singapore. So we are all 'softy southerners' 😱
