MODY
I have been paying private for mounjaro and have now been informed it is not licensed for MODY ! Any one have any information on this ?
 
I am suspected to be MODY but have never had this officially confirmed. I am due to start mounjaro next week, prescribed by GP.
 
Where dd you read that people with MODY should be careful with Mounjaro @MrsT1? Was it in the leaflet that comes with the medication?

As a diabetes treatment Mounjaro has only been tested for type 2 I believe not for MODY. For weight related treatments you normally need a certain bmi and a bmi related complication. High bmi can cause type 2 diabetes but MODY is genetic not usually due to weight
