Oh no! Warning.....

Diablo Dubai Chocolate is way too tasty.
Had cut myself down to a 25g portion and eat it slowly.

Ouch ! First ingredient listed is Maltilol. One of the sweeteners that gives us the runs. One of the reasons 'diabetic chocolate' is not recommended for diabetics.

Guess I'm lucky, I didn't react with diarrhoea. I had 25gs over 2 nights, think that's ok for me
 
I had a really small amount, no sugar spike and no upset tummy.
It tasted nice that's all I wanted to share.

The consensus on chocolate for diabetics has always been if you want some have a couple of squares of proper chocolate preferably dark choc. At all events avoid the chocolate labelled 'diabetic chocolate' or 'suitable for diabetics'. Boots and Thorntons used to make 'diabetic chocolate' which was anything but.

Sounds like consumers might be running the gauntlet with this 'Dubai' stuff and it might not even be classified as 'chocolate ' .....

'A study by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Consumer Protection tested eight imported samples of 'Dubai chocolate', five from the UAE and three from Turkey. It found that all eight samples were considered "defective". Five of the products sampled contained fats other than cocoa butter, which is not permitted in products labelled "chocolate" in Germany. The study also found that five samples were "unfit for consumption" due to contamination in the manufacturing process. Three samples were found to contain traces of undeclared sesame, usually as tahini. A screening also revealed high levels of mold toxins (aflatoxins).'

Normal dark chocolate for me. My current one which is Lidl 's J D Gross 70% is 31.9g carbs per 100g and I just have a square (12.5g of chocolate and 4g carbs) every now and then, broken into 4 and eaten with crunchy peanut butter to make it more satisfying.
