Freestyle libre 3 and a new NovoPen Exho plus - help!

I’ve been using a Freestyle Libre 3 for about 6 months and have today been given a Echo plus. I was excited to see that the two could interact. However I cannot for the life of me work out how to set it up. It indicates that the NovoPen Echo plus can send data to LibreLinkUp but I don’t have this connected as I use LibreView to share my data with my healthcare teams. Do I need to connect to LibreLinkUp and put myself as the connected person in order to link up the NovoPen? That seems rather unneccessry! Any advice welcome as I’ve wasted half an hour online trying to work out how to connect the two items ‍♀️ Thanks

Have you got Libre app on your phone, If you have just scroll down to insulin pens then follow instructions

With LibreLink (for up to Libre 2 Plus) the menu has an "Insulin pens" item which allows you to add (and remove) such insulin pens, and then they can be scanned to get doses. I don't know about the one for Libre 3 sensors.
