Wordle - Quordle Thread

Much more modest result than yesterday, with a couple of mistakes in Octordle combined with a lucky 3rd guess in Wordle after only one correct letter from the first two.

Result: 3+18+60=81

I am half way through the Weekly Challenge with ROUSE and I am absolutely stuck on the first word! Hoping it will jump out at me after some sleep.
 
Mixed bag here too. Lucky to get Wordle in 3. Also relieved to get through Quordle as one word took me some time to figure out.

Result: 3+23+59=85

Weekly with Rouse, 8,3,5,7 = 23.
The first word flummoxed me for ages, @rebrascora . I'd thought of it, and thought, no, it can’t be that, then came back to it and decided it must be!

Well, I tried that word last night and I am sure it highlighted as red meaning it wasn't a word so I went back to the drawing board even though there was nothing else possible. Anyway, I went back to it this morning and it accepted it this time, so it is a 6 5 4 7 = 22 for me with the Weekly
 
Did the first two And definitely am not on form. Stupid I knew Word 1 on Quordle but instead of putting it in I messed around with Word 4. Wonder if I would have thought clearer if I had been Three-up?

Quordle DNF (X, 5, 3, 9)

Deciding if I should continue with the Weekly Challenge? I went for a second word last night and if I am thinking straight I have Word 1. Waiting for my consultant and podiatrist to check my foot. Just hope there's not too many trainees/juniors as they can be off-putting. Surprisingly last week one got a Doppler out of his shoulder bag and asked if he could use it. The consultant agreed and a tube of gel came out. Sadly it (the foot) is monophasic indicating stenosis (narrowing of artery)

Nothing like putting a bit of pressure on me Mikey, but amazingly today I was almost up to the challenge!

Which puts me just one behind Rob. I can live with that!
